Core Courses
Of all resources existing, human resource has been recognised as the critical success factor that is hard to obtain and maintain. Amidst the current speed of change and challenges, people skills are therefore increasingly and significantly needed. The main purpose of this subject has been put forth to explore renowned principles –integrating behavioral sciences, psychology, sociology, economics, and management. Learners will be exposed to selected good practices in Thailand and overseas regarding the core management of people behaviour in an organization and the essential HRM processes from the managerial perspective. Overall, the course aims at achieving the building of human capital that can maintain an effective work and life balance and sustaining productivity and profitability for the organization.
Marketing philosophy and concepts, marketing plans, marketing strategy for business growth. Market opportunity analysis, evaluation of market attractiveness. Determination of marketing programs and effective marketing control.
Concepts and issues of utilizing accounting information for effective business management decision making. Product costing and its role in strategic decision making. Cost-volume-profit analysis. Planning and control, budgeting, responsibility accounting, balanced scorecard, performance measurement and evaluation. Roles of relevant information for making effective non-routine managerial decisions.
Concepts and issues of utilizing accounting information for effective business management. Analysis of the role of accounting in product costing, costing for quality, budgeting and profit planning, reporting, monitoring, performance evaluation and control of human behavior. The course is an introduction to concepts, techniques and tools for analysis of organization’s operational capabilities, which can be applied in both manufacturing and service organizations. Independent Study
Independent Study. Advanced-level investigations which cover the analysis of symptoms, problems, causes, and business audit. Business plans integrating various functions in businesses.
Qualifications of Applicant
Qualifications of a regular applicant are as follows:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree from the public or private academic institutions both inside and outside of thailand accredited by the office of the civil service commission and / or the office of the higher education commission.
- The applicant must have at least 2 years of work experience at the semester start date.
- Unlimited age
In case of the scholarship with full exemption of tuition fee for the entire program, the applicant must have the following qualifications:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree from the public or private academic institutions both inside and outside of thailand accredited by the office of the civil service commission and / or the office of the higher education commission.
- The applicant must hold a minimum gpa of 2.75 or equivalent for a bachelor’s degree, or must be a high-potential employee verified by human resources management only.
- The applicant must have at least 2 years of work experience at the semester start date.
- Unlimited age
The qualified applicant for a scholarship must meet the following qualifications:
- The scholarship recipient must maintain a minimum gpa of 3.30 in each semester. if the gpa fails to meet the criterion for any semester, the scholarship will be immediately discontinued.
- The scholarship recipient’s leave of absence will result in immediate cancellation of the scholarship. if the recipient resigns from the institute or cancels the scholarship, he or she must reimburse all the awarded scholarship to the institute, unless the committee considers otherwise.
- The scholarship recipient must complete a degree according to the duration of study of the program. in addition, the recipient must submit the academic results to a program committee at the end of a semester.
- During the scholarship period, the scholarship recipient must participate in the activities of the graduate school or the institute, and must be responsible for academic work and/or other assigned work from the graduate school of business administration.
- In the event that the scholarship recipient has to repeat any course or wishes to enroll in any course beyond the study plan, the recipient is not exempt from the tuition fee of such class.

การเรียน YMBA ไม่ได้เป็นการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์และไม่ได้เน้นที่การคำนวณในทางคณิตศาสตร์ที่ซับซ้อน หากแต่หลักสูตรคาดหวังที่นักศึกษาจะต้องมีทักษะในการคิดคำนวณตัว การบวก ลบ คูณ หาร การคิดเปอร์เซนต์ และการแปรความหมายจากตัวเลขต่างๆ ได้อย่างชำนาญซึ่งเป็นทักษะที่สำคัญอันหนึ่งของผู้บริหาร ในแง่ของวิชาเรียน ในหลักสูตรจะมีวิชาที่ต้องเรียนเกี่ยวกับสถิติ การเงิน และบัญชี ซึ่งเป็นวิชาที่มีการคำนวณตัวเลขเป็นพื้นฐานอยู่แล้ว
มีการเรียนการสอนในช่วงเย็นวันธรรมดาจันทร์-ศุกร์สัปดาห์ละ 3 วันตั้งแต่เวลา 18.30-21.30 น. ตามตารางสอนในแต่ละภาคเรียน
สำหรับโครงการ Y-MBA เป็นหลักสูตรแผน ข ไม่มีการทำวิทยานิพนธ์
1. ใช้การสอบประมวลความรู้ด้วยข้อเขียนและสอบปากเปล่า
2. ซึ่งการสอบปากเปล่าจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวิชาบธ.9000 การค้นคว้าอิสระ (Independent Study)
เป็นการวิเคราะห์ ปัญหา สาเหตุของธุรกิจที่นักศึกษาทำงานอยู่ โดยนำหลักวิชาต่าง ๆ ที่เรียนในห้องเรียนนำมาประยุกต์ใช้กับการวิเคราะห์ทำให้นักศึกษาได้เข้าใจในการนำไปใช้ในสถานการณ์จริง เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการนำความรู้ต่าง ๆ ที่เรียนไปใช้กับงานที่ทำได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผล
การย้ายหลักสูตรสามารถทำได้ ผู้ที่ต้องการโอนย้ายควรจะปรึกษาเจ้าหน้าที่ประจำหลักสูตรเกี่ยวกับการโอนย้าย แต่เงื่อนไขหลักๆ ในการย้ายโครงการมีคร่าวๆ ดังนี้ 1. สามารถโอนย้ายได้ ถ้าคุณสมบัติของผู้โอนย้ายตรงกับคุณสมบัติของโครงการที่ต้องการโอนย้ายไป และมีคุณสมบัติครบตามขั้นตอนการคัดเลือกตอนที่มาสมัคร เช่น ถ้าผู้สมัครสอบเข้ามาเรียนโดยการสอบข้อเขียนและการสอบสัมภาษณ์ ผู้สมัครจะสามารถโอนย้ายไปเรียนโครงการ Y-MBA ได้ แต่ถ้าผู้สมัครต้องการย้ายจากโครงการ Y-MBA ไปยังโครงการ Flex ผู้สมัครจะไม่สามารถย้ายได้เนื่องจากในการคัดเลือกของโครงการ Flex ผู้สมัครอื่นๆ จะต้องสอบข้อเขียนด้วย แต่ผู้สมัครโครงการ YMBA ไม่ได้สอบข้อเขียนเข้ามาตอนที่สมัครเข้าโครงการ YMBA เป็นต้น 2. สำหรับการโอนย้ายหน่วยกิตที่เคยเรียนมาแล้ว ไม่เกิน 2 ใน 3 โดยไม่เกิน 3 ปี 3. สำหรับการโอนย้ายมาโครงการใหม่ค่ากิจกรรมพิเศษไม่ได้โอนย้ายมาด้วย นักศึกษาที่โอนย้ายต้องเริ่มต้นเสียค่ากิจกรรมพิเศษใหม่ในโครงการที่โอนย้ายมาใหม่ด้วย 4. ขั้นตอนการโอนย้ายควรกระทำในภาคแรกของการเรียนจะเป็นการดีเพื่อจะได้ต่อการเรียนกับอีกโครงการหนึ่งจะได้ โดยต้องเขียนคำร้องขอโอนย้ายกับโครงการที่เรียนอยู่เพื่อให้ผู้อำนวยการโครงการเดิมอนุมัติให้โอนย้ายแล้วให้ผู้อำนวยการโครงการใหม่อนุมัติรับพิจารณาว่าเหมาะสมหรือไม่ในการเข้ามาเรียนกับโครงการใหม่ และเมื่อผ่านการอนุมัติของผุ้อำนวยการทั้ง 2 โครงการ แล้วนำเสนอคณบดีอนุมัติต่อไป ถึงจะย้ายโครงการได้
จำนวนชั่วโมงเรียนของหลักสูตรของ Y MBA มีจำนวนเท่ากับหลักสูตรอื่นๆ ของคณะบริหารธุรกิจ เช่น Executive MBA Flexible MBA หรือ MBA สำหรับภาคปกติ คือ มีจำนวน 16 วิชา วิชาละ 45 ชั่วโมงตามข้อกำหนดของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอุดมศึกษา
หลักสูตร YMBA เน้นการพัฒนาผู้นำทางธุรกิจที่รอบด้านดังนั้นการเรียนการสอนจึงเป็นการเรียนที่เน้นในทุกมิติของธุรกิจมากกว่าที่จะเป็นการเจาะลึก (ซึ่งจะเหมาะมากกว่าสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการทำงานเป็นนักเทคนิคหรือวิชาชีพเฉพาะ) เนื้อหาของวิชาต่าง ๆ จะครอบคลุมทุกด้านเศรษฐศาสตร์ การตลาด การเงิน นโยบายการลงทุน การจัดการกลยุทธ์ การปฏิบัติการ ฯลฯ
โครงการ YMBA มีความแตกต่างกับหลักสูตร MBA อื่นๆ ดังนี้ 1. โครงการ YMBA มีการเรียนการสอนที่ครอบคลุมทุกด้านของการบริหารธุรกิจและมีเป้าหมายที่ต้องการรับนักศึกษาที่เป็นผู้บริหารระดับต้นถึงกลาง หรือผู้ที่เป็นดาวรุ่งขององค์กรที่มีศักยภาพสูง นักศึกษาจะอายุอยู่ในวัยใกล้เคียงกัน คือ ระหว่าง 25-35 ปีและมีความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดกันมากในรุ่นและระหว่างรุ่นกันเองเนื่องจากเป็นหลักสูตรที่นักศึกษาจะเรียนและทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันตลอดหลักสูตร 2. โครงการ YMBA มีทุนส่งเสริมการศึกษา (เป็นทุนยกเว้นค่าหน่วยกิต) ให้กับนักศึกษาที่มีศักยภาพในการที่จะพัฒนาเป็นผู้นำที่ประสบความสำเร็จในอาชีพของตนเอง
โครงการ YMBA มีความแตกต่างกับหลักสูตร MBA อื่นๆ ดังนี้ 1. โครงการ YMBA มีการเรียนการสอนที่ครอบคลุมทุกด้านของการบริหารธุรกิจและมีเป้าหมายที่ต้องการรับนักศึกษาที่เป็นผู้บริหารระดับต้นถึงกลาง หรือผู้ที่เป็นดาวรุ่งขององค์กรที่มีศักยภาพสูง นักศึกษาจะอายุอยู่ในวัยใกล้เคียงกัน คือ ระหว่าง 25-35 ปีและมีความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดกันมากในรุ่นและระหว่างรุ่นกันเองเนื่องจากเป็นหลักสูตรที่นักศึกษาจะเรียนและทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันตลอดหลักสูตร 2. โครงการ YMBA มีทุนส่งเสริมการศึกษา (เป็นทุนยกเว้นค่าหน่วยกิต) ให้กับนักศึกษาที่มีศักยภาพในการที่จะพัฒนาเป็นผู้นำที่ประสบความสำเร็จในอาชีพของตนเอง
YMBA – Young Executive Master of Business Administration เป็นโครงการปริญญาโททางบริหารธุรกิจเหมาะสำหรับนักบริหารรุ่นใหม่ที่กำลังเป็นดาวรุ่งขององค์กร เพื่อสร้างผู้นำที่มีจริยธรรมในการบริหารการจัดการและเพิ่มพูนความรู้ แนวคิดและทักษะการจัดการสมัยใหม่ และสามารถนำความรู้ต่างๆ ไปใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ปัญหาและหาสาเหตุขององค์กรของตนเองและช่วยในการตัดสินใจอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผล

ผู้สมัครจะได้รับการพิจารณาเช่นเดียวกัน โดยในกรณีที่เป็นการประกอบธุรกิจส่วนตัว ผู้สมัครควรให้เพื่อนร่วมธุรกิจจำนวน 2 คน (ที่ไม่ใช่ญาติที่นามสกุลเดียวกัน) เขียนจดหมายหรือใบรับรองให้
เพื่อให้นักศึกษาที่จบจากหลักสูตรมีคุณสมบัติตรงกับความต้องการของภาคธุรกิจ ทางหลักสูตร YMBA จึงมีการเรียนปรับพื้นฐาน (Intensive Business Course) เป็นจำนวน 45 ชั่วโมงในช่วงประมาณ 2 เดือนก่อนเปิดภาคเรียนการเรียนนี้จะเรียนระหว่างเวลา 18.30-21.30 น. ซึ่งประกอบด้วย การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสาร, การพัฒนาทักษะการเรียน เช่น การเขียน Mind map, ทักษะการนำเสนอผลงาน, และการพัฒนาบุคลิกภาพและผู้นำ เป็นต้น
การคัดเลือกผู้สมัครของหลักสูตร Y-MBA ผู้สมัครจะถูกพิจารณาให้คะแนนสองส่วนคือ คะแนนประวัติที่ผ่านมา (เช่น เกรดของปริญญาตรี สาขาที่จบ ตำแหน่งที่ทำงาน ประสบการณ์ทำงาน ฯลฯ) และคะแนนจากการสัมภาษณ์ ดังนั้น ผลการศึกษาปริญญาตรีย่อมจะมีผลต่อการพิจารณาคัดเลือกในการรับเข้าเรียนในหลักสูตรด้วย
การเตรียมเอกสารและของอื่นๆ ที่ควรจะต้องเตรียมมาในการสัมภาษณ์ 1. ต้องเตรียมใบเสร็จจากการสมัครสอบเพื่อที่แสดงตัวต่อเจ้าหน้าที่จัดสัมภาษณ์ แต่ถ้าทำใบเสร็จหายให้นำบัตรประชาชนมาใช้ประกอบกับรหัสสมัครสอบแทนได้ (รหัสสมัครสอบดูได้จากประกาศรายชื่อและสถานที่สอบสัมภาษณ์) 2. ในการสอบสัมภาษณ์จะมีการทดสอบเขียนภาษาอังกฤษ ผู้สัมภาษณ์ควรจะต้องเตรียมอุปกรณ์การเขียน เช่น ปากกา มาด้วย 3. เอกสารเพิ่มเติมอื่น ๆ ในกรณีที่ผู้สมัครยังส่งไม่ครบตอนที่สมัครสอบ ขอให้ผู้สมัครนำเอกสารที่ขาดไปมามอบให้กับเจ้าหน้าที่ในวันที่สอบสัมภาษณ์ เพื่อใช้แนบไปพร้อมกับใบสมัครที่จะนำเข้าห้องสอบสัมภาษณ์ด้วย
มีการเปิดรับสมัครปีละ 4 ครั้งโดยแบ่งเป็น 2 รุ่นรุ่นละ 2 ครั้งตามแบบนี้ รุ่นแรกของปี: เปิดรับครั้งที่ 1 เริ่มประมาณเดือนพฤศจิกายน เปิดรับครั้งที่ 2 เริ่มประมาณเดือนมกราคม รุ่นที่สองของปี: เปิดรับครั้งที่ 3 เริ่มประมาณเดือนมีนาคม เปิดรับครั้งที่ 4 เริ่มประมาณเดือนกรกฎาคม สำหรับวันที่เปิดและปิดรับสมัครของแต่ละครั้ง สามารถดูได้จากประกาศกำหนดการรับสมัครของทางหลักสูตรที่เว็บไซต์ ymba.nida.ac.th
หลักสูตรกำหนดคุณสมบัติผู้เรียนอายุไว้ไม่เกิน 35 ปีและต้องมีประสบการณ์การทำงานมาแล้ว 3 ปีเป็นอย่างน้อย เพราะหลักสูตรต้องการนักศึกษาที่มีประสบการณ์ทำงานมาพอสมควรและเป็นคนรุ่นใหม่ที่มีศักยภาพในการก้าวเป็นผู้นำขององค์ต่อไป ส่วนผู้สมัคร ที่มีอายุไม่ได้ตามเกณฑ์สามารถสมัครเรียนในโครงการอื่น ๆ ของคณะบริหารธุรกิจได้ค่ะ เช่น หลักสูตร Executive-MBA ที่ผู้สมัครต้องมีอายุตั้งแต่ 30 ปี ขึ้นไปและมีประสบการณ์การทำงานอย่างน้อย 8 ปี หรือหลักสูตร Flexible MBA ที่ผู้สมัครต้องมีประสบการณ์ทำงาน 1 ปีหลังจากจบปริญญาตรีก็ได้ แต่ละหลักสูตรมีเป้าหมายแตกต่างกันดังนั้นผู้สมัครควรดูเป้าหมายของตนเองว่าเหมาะสมกับหลักสูตรใดค่ะ
ควรแต่งกายสุภาพเรียบร้อยผู้ชายสวมควรกางเกงสแล็คและเสื้อเชิ้ตผู้หญิงควรสวมกระโปรงหรือชุดทางการที่สุภาพเรียบร้อยโดยให้ความเคารพต่อคณาจารย์และกรรมการที่เป็นผู้สอบสัมภาษณ์
