Artificial Intelligence presents a significant opportunity to transform the retail industry. How can AI solutions be effectively designed and implemented to support and manage the in-store customer journey? This study presents a design journey for AI implementation aimed at understanding and improving the in-store customer shopping experience by integrating both Generative AI and Computer Vision AI.

ผลของการวิจัย
Several use cases are presented to demonstrate how Generative AI can be used to integrate the customer journey and point of view to gain insights into shopping behavior and preferences. Market analysts and store managers can then redesign the store layout by developing Discrete-Event simulation prototypes. The goal is to transform improvement ideas into experiments and, consequently, evaluate them through what-if scenarios. Another use case is to leverage and integrate the wealth of information provided by facial recognition technologies into marketing strategies, enabling more effective personalized offers and follow-up campaigns.
